CHEAP TRICK To Perform And Host Q&A Session In New York City

July 21, 2003

Veteran rockers CHEAP TRICK will celebrate the release of "Special One" — their first studio album in six years — with an intimate acoustic set and Q&A session Virgin Megastore (Times Square) in New York City on Tuesday, July 22 at 6:00 p.m.

The band will perform an acoustic set, followed by a Q&A session. Fans who purchase "Special One" at the event will be issued a pass to guarantee their space in line for an opportunity to meet CHEAP TRICK directly after their performance. Space will be limited.

CHEAP TRICK's "Scent of a Woman", the first single from "Special One", was the #1 most-added mainstream rock track in America the week of its release to radio. The band will appear on "Late Night with Conan O'Brien" on July 24 and perform at the American Bowl in Japan on August 2. CHEAP TRICK, who remain vital through constant touring, combine a love for British guitar pop songcraft with crunching power chords and a flair for the absurd, providing the necessary links between '60s pop, heavy metal, and punk.
